The sun began to sink down below the tree line, and all the plants and life became dark. The details in the bark and in the vegetation on the forest floor were becoming blurred by a light fog which had instantaneously began to lurk through the leaf stripped plants. She hiked over fallen trees and decaying leaves. She was so engulfed in her thoughts that she had not even noticed the darkness that was cast over everything. If she stayed out any longer, it would become impossible to keep to the path. She had to find somewhere to stay the night, but she was in the middle of no where. Little did she know that she was not alone in this lonely forest, and that just a few steps away, beyond the thickening fog there sat, nestled between the trees was a little cottage.
This is my post for the challenge that I posted earlier.
