Since I am reviewing graphic novels this year, and doing weekly recaps, I guess I’m going to show you the for books that I couldn’t live without!! That’s right, the life altering ones!
1. Betwixt: Tara Bray Smith
This book was one of the most influential books of my young adult years! It’s so fantastical but remains relatable, I hold it so dearly to my heart.
2. The Fault In Our Stars: John Green
I read this in one sitting. The day it came out. In my university library. I balled my eyes out. This book contains a life changing perspective on cancer….I don’t know how I ever approached the thought of cancer without reading this before.
3. Perks Of Being A Wallflower: Stephen Chbosky
As a human being, who was a) shy and b)depressed at some point along the way, this book, mostly the character Charlie really showed me the light of everything. It brings the reality of issues that most people have been subjected to, and shows the outcomes, or the consequences. I love that!
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: Douglas Adams
This book, though I read it for the first time fairly recently, has very well changed my writing style, and not to mention my writing interests. I find my self constantly writing non-sense, or space poetry, and I love it. ❤ I love this series WAY more than the movie!
So there you go! 4 books I love!
Alsoooo! Go look at Kelly’s Day 4!
